Christmas Weight Loss Tip – Nurture Yourself

This is the third of my special Christmas weight loss tips and it’s a wonderful way to help combat emotional eating.

My suggestion is to find one thing to do each day that nurtures you, something that is just for you and makes you feel good.  Some ideas are:

  • make yourself a cup of your favourite tea and take the time to drink it mindfully
  • run yourself a scented bath with candles
  • go for a walk in the park and feel the benefit of being outside in nature
  • book yourself a massage
  • take a yoga class
  • spend 20 minutes reading that book you’ve been meaning to

The list is endless!  Try and find something different each day that nurtures you.  By taking the time to do this, you will feel calmer and more balanced.  This means that there won’t be the need for emotional eating.  Your focus will be on looking after yourself.
